Stuck with my kindle

I told you I love reading so much. Since i got it, I read day and night. Forgot about blogging, forgot about facebook. I am always looking for new books to download and that it is. No more writing. Then today, I thought, maybe I should write something. Mmmm....

Try Harlequin

I love books from them. I got several from Amazon that was free. And about 6 more free from their own website but I couldn't read it in my kindle because kindle doesn't support protected ebooks.
That's ok. Since if I want I can read from my laptop. So, I should write reviews on the books.

Irrestible Forces by Brenda Jackson

Okay. This is a great book. It is about a woman, Taylor Steele, who wants a baby but not a husband. She came out with an idea which not only gave her a baby but also something else. She was caught in her own plan without knowing it is a plan of two. I love to write more on this book but it would be a spoiler. This book should be read by anyone that like a story about love.

Waking up Married by Mira Lyn Kelly

Apparently they woke up married. It's Vegas and anything can happen. Great love story and a bit sad in the middle but a happy ending. I love happy endings.

Married by Mistake by Abby Gaines

This is a fun love story. I want to be in the story. It is about a reality tv show that didn't go into plan. And by mistake they got married. I would recommend this book for anyone.

Okay I admit I am a stinker in writing a review. But you should try reading books from Try Harlequin because they have all the happy endings we need and every time I read a book, I smile. So, just try and buy, it is not a waste.

I bought a kindle (free kindle books)

Yes I did.. And now, I am waiting for my order to come. After researching for the best offer, I got it for RM300 only for Kindle basic. I didn't got the Kindle Paperwhite, I figured if I want light, I can buy a bed lamp. So then I thought I need a case. Then it is expensive. So I wanna make my own case from a book that have a great cover that I didn't even read coz I don't like the genre.

That one is also a reason why I should get a kindle. There are few books that I bought but just read the 1st page n put it away. I already downloaded few books for my kindle from some website.. Total about 35 books. N there are many more books, which are all free. So, if I don't like any, just delete it.

I like this one because the books are not only classic but also new books, all kindle. And you can choose from English, German, French n 2 more languages. So I downloaded many in English n a few in German. I thought maybe I should polish my german. Haha..

This one offer thousands of books also and many genre. I downloaded many books from here also and a book of gardening.

They have books on recipes. So I downloaded a few.

He is a novel writer, which currently offer 3 books for free. So maybe if I like his books, I will buy others. It is a good way of marketing right..

They also offer thousands off book free.

 

Knowing that I can download for free is the other reason why I bought a kindle. I can save a bit of money and enjoy my reading. And also kindle books is not that pricy than buying a book. All and all, I just can wait for my Kindle. The seller told me, I can get it within 3 weeks. So I just need to wait for a long time now.. I don't like waiting.

 

Owh I love reading books but sometimes buying a book is like buying the impossible. I have a baby so she comes first. But this is a one time that I thought, I need something to make me better after working all day.. Hahaha.. working all day.. That's funny.. I am not working, but sometimes it feels like that. So after knowing that I need this. I asked my husband, Can you buy this for me? Owh it can be an early birthday present. Hehe.. And he said.. OK.. Yes.. The next day, he paid for it. I am so happy.. Haha.. Early present it is, my birthday is in July. But Thanks so much darling for my early birthday present. I better treat him nicely.. Aww..

Kindle: Do I need it?

Kindle is a device for reading... Save the Trees.. This is a good way right.. And you can bring it anywhere you want. It fits in your pocket, your bag. Okay, actually I am not the kind that like to buy a high tech devices. Such as a handphone with high tech. I like a simple one. As the battery life is longer and the handphone will not go jam all of sudden because virus.

So after using some of them, then I just stick with a simple one. Then camera, I have one. My lenovo ideapad.. So that is all I need. Then I found out about this Kindle. It is solely for reading. The battery can last 1 month if not using wifi. And you can save until 1,400 books. With the cheapest about RM400.. I guess it is a good bargain. Not only I can save money buy not buying books, I save money by not needing a shelf for my books and also save space in my room. And most important Save the Earth.. Right....?

 

So, do I need the Kindle? Mmmm... Okay I can also read in dark, I can read anywhere, anytime, I want.. Owh like a dream come true.. Right..? RIGHT...

 

It is like heaven for readers.. Huhu.. This is a Kindle...

 

I like one.. Maybe I should just buy it.. Kindle anyone?

My Mother's Old Books

 When I told her that I searched for an old book and found that

it was valuable. She then showed me a couple of old books that she have. She was from Germany so, the books came from there. She told me, she got the books from her neighbour. They wanted to burn books, as their Aunt passed away. So she took three books.

This is like a year book. A calender. With advertisements at the back pages.

My mother said at that time there were no magazines or newspapers, so this is the way they advertise or telling the news.

This book is about religion.

 

Griebens Reisefuhrer Band 2, HARZ 1904-1905

This is like a guide book. With maps and where to eat and stay. 

 

Unfortunately we will not be the next milionaire... Hehe.. I search the prices in http://www.abebooks.com and found out the highest price for 2 first books above were 17 US Dollar, the last one is about the same.

 

There are so many other books in Deutsch also but I am not a good German reader, maybe one day I will learn to read it by myself.

A Christmas Carol

I downloaded the ebook. Then I realise that I don't like reading books this way. So I tried looking online for the book. So I endup reading the history of Charles Dickens. I am so shock that the Original or 1st edition of this book cost 20,000 US Dollar.. Wow which he sold for just 20 something/5 shillings at that time with minimal profit. How I will be so lucky to get the first edition.. I like old books. It would be a dream came true.. Books really make me like this.. Huhu.. I want to cry.. But then I found this website http://www.gutenberg.org. They made an ebook with the first edition illustrations.. So I am feeling ok now..
